Why I Started Epic Travel Tours
Hi there, my name is Epi Mabika and I’m a travel addict! Having travelled the world to the most iconic bucket-list places you can imagine over the last 20 years, my mind and life has been opened to unforgettable unique experiences that only travel can provide.
With over 35 countries visited so far, I have found that going to various places & meeting other cultures outside my norm is very enriching, and has opened me up to marvellous opportunities in life, career, business and friendships. With the kind of friendships, I have built around the world through travel, I can safely say I have a home in any part of the world.
Throughout the years, I would get feedback and inquiries from a lot of women who saw me travel and dreamed to have the same travel lifestyle that I have too.
However, most of their fears & hesitations were around solo travelling, security, financing, not knowing where to go or how to maximise their trips, and not being brave enough to travel to any country alone. On a different spectrum, those who wanted to travel together had constant indecisive plans for trips that never made it beyond the watsapp group.
So rather than continuing with the vicarious living through me, I decided to open up the opportunity to other like-minded individuals as yourself to become part of a community of travellers.
I got inspired to start Epic Travel Tours for group trips to countries that I’ve been to, and others not yet visited, in order explore new areas and experiences, whilst making new connections. With a fine balance between adrenaline and relaxation activities, there is always a perfect mix for anyone to enjoy the uniquely curated travel experiences with us.
With a strong team of experienced travel consultants, tour operators, transportation coordinators, hotel owners, airlines, photographers, affiliates and partners, we are sure to guarantee you the ultimate luxury on a budget, making Epic Travel Tours, the travel concierge of choice.
Of course I understand that other travellers may not be flexible to join our planned calendar dates, or prefer to travel as families, couples, friends or a private group, and that’s why there is an opportunity for us to create a private custom itinerary for your trip. With tailor made itineraries in place, we take the stress out of travel planning, leaving you with only the burden of carrying your passport to show up at your chosen destination!
